Speed Demon

I ran a 5k last week. My time was laughable but at least I didn't stop.

That's probably the place I got in the race-56 But it was for a good cause.
A friend of mine has a 2 year old niece with leukemia.
Reading her story made me cry and  be grateful my kids don't have that.
I think I'll be walking the next 5k in September.

  1. Hey--you look good--and that's important, too!

  2. That's what makes those things really worthwhile for me, when you feel connected to the cause.

  4. I've done a walk in Boston since 2004--Light the Night Walk--for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society--a couple of years for my cousin who was a survivor, and then in her memory. This year, I'll be away and won't be able to do the walk, but it has always been fun and for a worthy cause. I also raised quite a bit of money for it as well. I certainly hope your friend's niece does well. No child should have to go through this.
