1141

That is the number of photos I downloaded yesterday from our month long vacation. We went to visit family and for Zach's exploration literature seminar at MIT. Its going to take a while to even look at them much less sort, edit, re-size and post. Needless to say I have a lot of catching up to do but after traveling across country yesterday with 3 boys this was me:

I'll be back to this by tomorrow.

Can you guess the other members of my family after the return from our trip?

Eating Like a Hobbit

So for the past few months I've been eating more or less like a hobbit: breakfast, second breakfast, 11-sies, lunch, afternoon tea... because if you haven't heard already- I'm pregnant! Its exciting news for us in the Orem Hutchins household. I was 13 weeks on Monday so I've officially entered my second tri-mester, the good one. Not too sick any more and not too fat yet.

The boys already know there is a baby growing in mommy's tummy. If you ask them what they want they say a girl but if you ask them what they think it is, they say a boy. Either way, we'll be happy. My money is on boy too since the pregnancy feels like the other ones.  We love boys. If in 7 weeks I tell you I'm having another boy, PLEASE only offer your congratulations, no condolences. Everyone I tell who is not LDS figures the only reason I'm having a fourth child is because I REALLY wanted a girl- that or I'm just plum crazy. Lots of LDS people figure the same thing too. Not true, still going for 8 folks, boy or girl. When I tell you #8 is a boy, THEN you can offer your condolences.

P.S. Sorry we are sans pictures lately. I've been on the road visiting my family in NC and the computer here doesn't support my SD card.I'll try to update about that later on. Saying its been a crazy week would be an understatement. The kids are having fun but 6 under 6 is a recipe for ridiculous.

Our neighbor gave us of the fruit...

And we did eat. Our sweet little 80 year old neighbor has 6 fruit trees in the yard of her rental house and she generously let us pick her fresh cherries this week. This was a first for our family. All the boys loved the cherries but Mac loved the little red fruits so much that we've had to limit his consumption for fear of what is coming out the other end. (Including seeds and stems!)

We canned most of the cherries making 11 quarts of pie filling. This was no small task since each little cherry has to be stemmed and pitted. Feels good to start on this years food storage.
