My Chubby Cherub

This is my chubby little cherub. Quite possibly the best baby ever. He's seven months old now and such a joy. People tell me all the time how slim he looks- Just kidding! Mostly the first thing they say is, "Wow you get bigger every time I see you". (I'm glad I've been doing some weight lifting so that carrying him around doesn't hurt my back.) Lincoln is adorable and good tempered. He scoots and rolls around on the floor but no official crawling yet. He just got his first two teeth in front and didn't even really complain. I love this little angel! Sometimes we just look at each other and adore.

Head circumference 44.5 cm
Length 27.5 inches
Weight 19 lb 2 oz

All about 60%

Buddy, Buddy

These two have become pretty good friends this year. It's a good thing too, because David will be gone full time at school in the fall. I caught Mac putting his arm around Ruthie and made him pose like that for a picture.

I love to hang out with just my "littles".

Never too Old to Change

We've just had a recent convert baptism in our ward and I had the privilege of snapping a few photos. Gaylon is 91 and still kick'n, although they did have extra priesthood help in the font just to make sure she didn't slip. I hope I'm still going strong when I'm her age. Welcome to the church Gaylon.

I LOVE these sister Missionaries!!! Love them

Thanks for sharing your testimony Brian and Nicole

Fort Hutchins Update

Lets be honest, Zach did the lion's share of the work, but we did help out a little. He wheeled about 15,000 pounds from our front yard and I did about 1,000 pounds plus raking. The boys stood in the box and zelously pushed sand around a bit. The point is, it's done. And there have been tiny bits of grainy happiness all over my house ever since.

First and Last

Their smiles have a few more gaps in them and their hair is a tad shaggier but over all, I would say just as cute as 8 months ago.

Birthday Shout Out

(oldest and youngest cousins on the Hutchins side together)

A big HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY to this stud who came to visit us last month. Maybe this will be him with his own chubby blond baby in a few years. He's already got the baby thing down. I'm pretty sure when we were in Home Depot everyone assumed Lincoln was his. Lincoln loves him and so do we.

Beauty Shop

Ruth was sick the other week and had to stay home from church. As a consolation prize for missing nursery, Zach let her practice her painting skills and polish his toes. Aren't they 'perdy'?Not bad for a two year old.

Pea Shooter

If you read our family letter you know that Lincoln is not yet fully committed to the true and living principle of eating. To him food is 'meh'. He could take it or leave it. Well I suppose mushed up fruits and vegetables thickened with oat powder is 'meh' so who can blame him. Much of what goes in still comes out as he figures out how to move his tongue in the right direction to swallow.  We just feed him solids once a day for now but I'm sure that will pick up as his interest level increases. The first feeding is always a family affair.

Gabe's birthday bash

Gabe really loves all things Pokemon right now

Thanks to cousin Roger the Pokemon battle was a big success

6 Against 1, it seemed fair at the time. And by birthday bash, I mean bash on Roger of course.
