On Saturday BYU hosted the annual book festival. An event centered around trying to get you to buy books signed by the author.We went mainly for the free kid activities and miraculously Zach didn't buy any books.

Mac LOVED the slide. Zach took him down 5-6 times and he was still begging for more.
At the end of our family outing we made our own activity and let the boys hop in the fountain to collect change. When you're only making 12 cents a day, being able to just pick it up off the ground is a big deal. (Zach assures me that undergraduates stick their feet in all the time and BYU just has to clean out the fountains anyway. )
Mac wasn't so sure he wanted to join in collecting of these small wet metal objects for fear of slipping.
David made out with about $0.75 and Gabe scored big with some quarters at around $2.00. Score!
Now's the time to teach them about "saving" for a rainy day. Cute pictures.
