Fort Hutchins is Finished 

 Great Job Zach and small helpers. They stayed out there for about an hour before they finally tossed in the paint brush. Zach finished up the all the spots that weren't quite covered and officially finished his summer construction project. Turned out great.

We went to go see our friends Janice and Marcus in Utah and there was plenty of both. It was no problem that Marcus and Ruthie hadn't seen each other in a year because they met and were instant friends again. ( Now I wish I had snapped a shot of Janice and I together.I'm always so busy taking pictures of the kidos I forget to take one of myself.)

An especially beautiful-and tasty- tomato from my garden this week.
We've been enjoying a number of tomato based dishes recently,
compliments of the garden.

Battle Creek Falls

If you are ever in the Pleasant Grove, Utah area with little kids this is a hike I definitely recommend. Not too long or steep with an exciting destination at the end. It was even shady most of the way up. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the waterfall and just generally collecting dirt onto their small bodies. I enjoyed taking pictures and telling these dirty children not to get too close to the edge.

Just take'n a selfie with her favorite nephew Macaroosie. What better way to pass the time with Aunt Tina.

My 'other' Amber

This is my 'other' Amber (my sister being 'my first Amber'.) We lived down stairs from Amber and her husband Nacho for 2 years while in Utah and she is one of the people I miss the most. I was so glad we were able to meet up on our recent trip to Orem.

Family Picture

       I asked someone to snap a family picture of us after church two weeks ago since we were all in red. I think next time I will hire myself and just use a tripod. Hopefully we can do a little better on the valentine's day card this year.
