For Christmas Zach's BYU niece Naomi gave our family a great game for kids and adults alike- Doh-Nutters. The object of the game is simple, try to scoop up all of your doughnuts onto your elephant trunk before everyone else. The boys loved it. Coming to a family night near you.

Boston Science Museum
Over Christmas break we got the chance to visit the Museum of Science in Boston (my dad's Christmas gift to the family- Thanks dad). It was a fun trip with lots to do. We started off our visit in the Omni Theater which is a half dome and really makes you feel like you are INSIDE the movie. We watched Santa vs. the Snowman because we weren't sure how long little attention spans would have lasted for the non-fiction films. Then we went around to different discovery attractions including the physics of the park, dinosaurs, animals, a musical staircase, and lots more. Let's not forget riding the escalator, it was it's own attraction. What a fun time.

The Hutchins Knows NOSE
Can you see it? Apparently it is actually the "Glass" nose, from Mom's side of the family not dad's. Aaron has it too and probably other family members that didn't make it into the photos. Fun to share physical characteristics with other people. I wonder if any of our children will have it. Three out of four of them (Gabe, Mac, and Ruthie) favor Zach's genes more than me. Strong genes those Hutchins' genes. I guess time will tell.

A few Christmas Pictures
This year we came to Northborough, MA or Christmas. Zach had job interviews in Boston anyway which is about 45 minutes from his parents house. Killing two birds with one stone as it were. We had our own little family Christmas gift exchange in Utah before we left and then did it all over again when we got here. I'm sure the boys could get used to TWO Christmases every year. It has been lovely to spend time with Zach's parents, siblings, and other family members. We even got a good heavy snow a few days after Christmas to make it feel like a true New England winter.

Miss Congeniality
This baby makes friends where ever she goes. Children and adults alike are just drawn to her pleasant smile and personality. This is a picture of her with a random child at the airport who started following Ruthie around trying to get Ruth Anne to play with her. Although she has been a little whiney lately because she hasn't been feeling her best, Ruth is usually such a pleasure. I never have a problem getting someone to hold her at church for me. There are many someones in fact who gladly volunteer for the job. It's nice to have TBBE- The Best Baby Ever. Only for one more month though. Soon she will have her birthday and be The Best Toddler Ever- we hope! Mac was pretty stiff competition for that title.

Knock, Knock
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Charlie
Charlie Who?
Charlie HORSE!!!
Seeing Santa was worth the 45 minute wait the boys had to endure. Well, at least it was worth it to them. Zach may have felt differently but we didn't go him. The lights were beautiful and the horse ride was fun. Thanks Riverwoods for a good family outing.
